Exciting times ahead! Thursday 21st Mar 2013

So exciting times are ahead of us! We just got notification that the building of the horse walker and the extension of the arena is beginning on April 2nd! The new block of stables will follow shortly so hopefully we will be all finished by the Summer of 2013! Keep an eye out as an open day will be in order so that everyone can come have a nosey at our new exciting facilities.

As well as the expansions of the facilities we have added a few new young horses to our string. They have all been sourced by the wonderful Trevor Badger of Bridgehouse Stud. They are all Irish Sport horses and all 4 have been carefully selected! I am so excited about them and looking forward to getting them out and about this year! If you see me and an event on a very exciting little horse (literally, they are all standing between 15.2 and 16.0hh at present) then i am making an advanced apology for any lack of control! All  are for sale or have shares available. If this interests you then please contact me!

Still looking for rides and owners for this year, so don’t hesitate to get in contact!

Please Help! WANTED Friday 18th Jan 2013

Please help! I am currently looking for new rides for the 2013 season.

Up and coming International Event Rider Jessica Acheson is seeking help to achieve her ambitions for the future

Jessica has produced horses from PN to 3* level, won the Northern Ireland CNC 2* Championship and also competed her 6 year old at Le Lion d'Angers World Championships in 2012. She is now looking for an experienced 3* horse to run alongside her current 3* horse to help her gain miles and experience at the higher levels of the sport

Jessica spent the last 2 years living and working at one of the top Event Yards in Ireland, and therefore has a wealth of experience in producing and schooling horses up to 3* level. She is coached by international trainers and will be competing in the UK, Ireland and Europe in 2013Jessica runs her team from her own private yard in Wiltshire where each horse gets her individual attention

Jessica is idealling looking for a more experienced horse who has competed at 2* or above. With the financial backing to run a horse at this level, but without the funds to purchase this caliber of horse, this could be a great opportunity for an owner to be involved with an up and coming rider with big ambitions.

Any other level of horse is also considered and livery packages can be made to suit your and your horses needs!

Jessica is willing to consider any suggestions you may have to make this financially viable, so please don't hesitate to contact her for more details

Great start to 2013! Sunday 6th Jan 2013

We seem to have hit the ground running in 2013!! This weekend we went to our first showjumping outing with the 3 horses being placed! It started with the eventers showjumping at West Wilts on friday where Court Appearance (Gary) was 2nd in the 80cm and jumped a very smart round in the 90cm, whilst Bridgehousestud Riverwild (Ellie) was 2nd in the 1.10m. We then returned on the Saturday for the BSJA at West Wilts on Saturday with Ottentik Nobless and Bridgehousestud Riverwild. After hanging around for what seemed like forever we finally got to jump in the Newcomers at 6.00pm. It was worth the wait! Both horses jumped very smart double clears with Frenchie finishing in 6th! Very good ponies! Lets hope it continues! Good Luck x

2012 is over, moving onto 2013 Wednesday 2nd Jan 2013

All in all 2012 was a pretty good year. I moved back to England and set up my yard, Philip Smyth joined Team Acheson and i have a string of very smart horses for next year ranging from 4 yr old to 3*. Frenchie had some smart placings at 2* level, and won the Northern region Irish 2* league, as well as making a very good start at 3* jumping a clear round Camphire CIC***. Ellie started her international career fantastically with a top 20 result at the hotly contested Tattersalls CCI* and ending up being selected for the Young Horse World Championships at Le Lion D'angers! She was also 3rd in the Irish 5 and 6yr old league, not bad for only being in Ireland for half the season! I have some lovely horses for 2013, including 2 very smart 5 year olds (Court Appearance and Millers Court) and some gorgeous 4 year olds who are currently in Ireland being backed and broken by Bridge House Stud! I have also been very lucky to be able to pick up some great sponsors and supporters for next year including; Horse First Horse Supplements, Tredstep Ireland, Towergate Insurance, Stud Shu, Blue Grass horse feeds and Bridge House Stud! I just want to say a massive thanks to all my friends, sponsors , supporters, and most importantly my family who helped me through the 2012 season! THANK YOU! Roll on 2013 and lets pray for the sun and good weather! Good Luck!!!
